Calvary’s You Are Loved project is designed to help you demonstrate love to those around you — to help you LOVE PEOPLE COMPASSIONATELY!
We hope these projects will help you get started!
This Week’s You Are Loved Challenge
Prepare a special thank-you for your Trash Pickup Workers. We have notes available at the information Center that will say “You are loved” and invite them to church. Stick in a small token of appreciation (warm socks, gloves, gift card) and set it somewhere they will see it! Share what you did on our Facebook page #youarelovedlincoln
Other ways to get involved:
Blessing Baskets: Donations accepted through 12/9, help put baskets
together on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 3-4 pm in Connections Café, help deliver
to needy families from Dec. 9-14th.
Community Caroling: December 13th, 17th & 19th Join a group and go
caroling to our neighbors! Meet at Calvary at 6:30 pm any of these nights.
Volunteers serving at Gifts of Love-City Impact on Thursday and Friday
should meet at City Impact, 1035 N. 33rd Street.
Direct Delivery of cookies and gift cards to the community: Gift card
donations at YAL ministry booth until Sunday, Dec. 16th. Then join us
on Dec. 22 & 23 as we hand them out to unsuspecting shoppers!
