DESCRIPTION:November 26th – December 2nd\nLeave a gift for your trash collector(s) and a You are Loved note.\nDid you know from Thanksgiving to Christmas\, American households create an extra one million tons of waste\, which is a whopping 25% more that our trash collectors have to pick up and haul away. (Find source here.) \nThese men and women serve us weekly\, in more ways than just collecting our trash. They teach our children from an early age about hard work\, service and that not all jobs are 8-5. In my family’s case\, they taught my children about kindness and heavy machinery- once taking time to show our children how the trash compactor worked. Our kids see them every week\, often more excited about seeing the garbage truck than going to see their friends. Their jobs may not be glamorous\, but could you imagine our lives without them? \nThis December\, we encourage you to let those around you know the kindness of God. As a church family\, we’re promoting an act of kindness each week to communicate God’s You are Loved message. Please take the time this December to participate in His message.
